Good to hear that this seems just like another case of 'bike totalled, rider OK', so much preferable to 'bike and rider totalled'. But as others have said, you should still have it all examined carefully. How did it feel after the shock had worn off? Get better soon in any case!
Quite. That always annoys me so much, especially in press coverage. I remember an incredibly offensive BBC London report when Wan-Chen McGuiness died under the wheels of an articulated HGV in Holborn ...
