  • just brought an Fusion, lighter than a Deep V, but stronger than a Mavic Open Pro, plus it's reasonable cheap too for £25.

(Deep V is 520g, Mavic Open Pro is 435g, and Fusion is 475g).

  • where you find them for 25?

  • yeah, where did you bought them?

  • do you have proof that it's stronger than an open-pro?
they could be made of inferior alloy or pinned just because they are heavier doesn't mean they are stronger.

  • and have you actually weighed it?

  • i remember when velocitys were a tenner a hoop in the 90's. never really concidered as a quality rim,

certainly pretty though, i just bought myself a purple one

    :D

  • £30, not £25,sorry, read the wrong thing, the weight come from the Internet, and from the maker's site, both the velocity and mavic.

  • Who is stocking Fusions again? I have been trying to get info about 28h Fusions for some time but never get any replys...

Would really like some 28h Fusions, in some color... all I can find online is black/machined or gold non-machined... there must be something else to choose from?

  • nope, the Deep V is the only one that come in several colour, if you want it in different colour, get it resprayed, simple.

  • Are you sure? Velocity USA's Fusion-page says:
    "700c

Grey, Bright Silver, Pink, Brown, Spangle, Frost, Teal, and Celeste Machined - Black, Silver, White, Red, Yellow, Blue, Purple, Gold, Orange, Lime Green, Ti. Grey, Pink, Brown, Spangle, Frost, Teal, and Celeste

**All colors available only in 32h drillings. Please consult your local Velocity dealer for availability on other colors and drilling options."

Cavendish Cycles may have some in stock.

  • ebay is the best place to get them. they have retailers willing to ship worldwide and they will either do full wheel sets or just the rims way cheaper than in stores. that's where i got mine.

too expensive, I got mine for 30 quid from a shop, the cheapest velocity fusion I found on ebay is 35 quid and that without delivery and (possibly) custom charge.
