you're riding a singlespeed bike, it's essential to have two brakes on your bike, the reason why fixed wheel bicycle only need one on the front since you already have a fixed wheel to 'brake' with your legs.
how are you going to control your braking in poor condition? (i.e. ice, wet, greasy, etc.), and most especially on corner where rear brake tend to be idea?
