beautiful sunshine and 18 degrees yesterday! :D

great weekend, sunday every part of my body was sore. we narrowly lost the first round to the guys that came second and the other game we lost was to the French Fuckers, in a hard fought, but good tempered game (the best on the day i think).

for those of us that missed the weekend and fun and are talking about future tourneys could someone post the full brackets and the rules of the tournament?

Madison were the only ones that knew the rules. Two rules in hindsight: Don't pass half court and elbow somebody in the back (off the ball even...)

The Parisians sure didn't know the rules...

yeah that half court rule was weird...

once you score you have to go back into your own half, the now attacking team can stay in their own half dilly dally around (line up a shot)... the defending team cant interfere with play till the ball crosses the halfway line. Weird

don't have the bracket (i think there might be photos of it on the french forum - mark?), and there were no rules worth mentioning.

lesson to be learned - practiced refs are key, you need people who can make decisions and stick to them. they also need to have established authority on the court, so there is no bickering or ignoring from the players.
