I had a think about this.......... I think an absolute value is misleading. So I've come up with a ratio.....
Money spent on cycling / hours of riding
hourly wage
So imagine you spent £500 on cycling in a year and rode 100 hrs whilst earning a £5 min wage then your ratio would be (500/100)/5= 1 And indeed 1 seems a good base.
Over 1 and life seems cycling poor, under 1 is good 0=Lance!
