Push bikes rides...

Anyone fancy tagging along with some geeky old dudes on a push bikes ride?

They have a christmassy ride this wednesday 10th , starting in hockley.

Never been to one before, no idea what it would be like.

Might actually give us a chance of riding in some numbers & covering some distance on an organised route for once?

Im thinking about it anyway, but dont want to be stuck on a dull long ride on carriageways with grey bearded guys that making the most of their freewheels down hills.

Anyone got experience of them? Want to chance it together, we can ditch it if its crap.

i did a bit of work with pushbikes back in the day. although they do a great job, i seem to remember it being short on crack pipes and dancing girls. a beard was mandatory as well but looking in the mirror, i have a beard thesedays. christ, i think i've morphed into one of them. back into therapy i go...

Wednesday 10th December 2008: Black Eagle, Factory Road, Hockley

Make your own way there by bike or by Midland Metro, get off at Benson Road Station and walk down the hill.

I would assume that's the destination, no ? Not particularly clear I guess if it's just a pub get together or if there's an actual ride to it

As they are suggesting people take the metro their im guessing its not the destination of the ride but the origin.

Hockley is on the far side of the city centre near the jewellery quarter.

Where the MAC is in cannon hill park, south Birmingham near Balsall Heath/ moseley/ edgbaston

its all quite confusing, I think im giving it a miss.

We could go to the next one, or much better.
