just stripped it, and found the pressure damage most visible at the bast of the down tube adjacent to the bb cluster, as wrinkle on one side, and stretchy action on the other. if i was to put a new fork in there, to ride straight, i would have to go at an angle, like how some dogs run. less visible is the tweaked alignment from front to back; if you look down the top tube towards the rear triangle, all you see is the non-crank-side seat and chain stay. luckily i have another frame set here, and im in the process of switching over bits, but the total loss (noticed so far, anyways) is front wheel, fork, frame and seat. damn. all this one day after "heroically" saving some one elses frame.
