  • I'll check tonight when I return to my dungeon.

  • excellent!

  • +1 on saddle pain, also I'd lose those QR's asap before you lose your wheels!! Otherwise though, cracking job mate!!! Really really looks great!!
hah, the saddle is quite good actually, it has a softer plastic covering underneath which reduces a lot of vibrations. And without the crappy stitching ive saved tons of weight, considering it wasn't first class comfort in the first place.

And yeah i got new axeles for both wheels today (matching gold colour). I agree on quick release - not a big fan either.

    Eddie

    1. Round-town beater (SS with an 'interesting' -read broken brake) which I was using to commute till I had an altercation with a car...

This bike is what's known in the trade as a "Death Trap". Jeez.

  • Ropey picture, a piece of wood instead of a seatpost, 25 rear tire won't go any closer cause its too wide to fit into the stays, will have to run 23 rear.
Needs lots of bits, like a front wheel.

Currently at mercian having the seat tube damage sorted, chances are the repair will remove the paint, so will have to get a respray.

  • Shit! tynan has been cloned and moved to Cambridge!
    Welcome to the fray Eddie.

Eddie sound like my kinda man, anyone who spends time shaving 50gms off their bike is good by me.

  • Yes please!!! Will have to grab them off you in the new year as well as those black chainring bolts Tynan promised...
    Cheers Guy! :)

Oh, sore point ! I promised some to murlte too, but things went bad, real bad, but I have found them now, so all it good again.

Whats the damage on a black (I'm assuming) frame powdercoat as of this week?

Actually the frame is not a matt back, as i have done 2 previous stealth bikes, so decided to switch it up this time. 80 quid at Armourtex, but am having a lot of bits done . . .

I had this langster done at Armourtex, frame, forks, bars and stem, for 55 quid a while back, if thats the sort of finish you are after

  • it is/was my 'suicide ride', it added a little adrenaline to my daily commute :P

  • Finished at last...
Picture didn't come out great but I'll take a decent one when I can be bothered.
