Well the truth is I've never had to commute because a) I'm still a student and b) I use the underground. I've recently decided to use a bike to get to college which is only about 3.5 miles and that's the most I've done on a bike so for me, yes :). In real terms...that's next door to most of you fellas I assume?

Also, spotted a young dude with a red bike, white deep v at the back, and I think was a purple or red shirt. Right outside of Liverpool St Station exit/entrance.

pretty much, I think the average miles most of us do is 100 a week.

I feel so fat and lazy now. Not that I am.. :D

82 miles a week here less than half is the daily commute.

I do 12ish miles day to get to work and back, plus lots of leisure riding.

Most i've done in one sitting is probably 30ish...

Avoiding having to use the tube is why I like having a bike.. it gives me the fear.

Not sure of his name but its an American guy that rides that bike. Chatted to him outside the Cat & Slutton a while ago. Always see his bike everywhere too.
