hey guys! good north showings on the all night ride last night. just about an hour ago i was riding through dalston, thought some girl across the street was sarah, made eye contact yelling "hi sarah" and waving only to realize as soon as i opened my mouth that it wasn't her.. good story! tell her to come to drinks more so i can recognize her better. this tuesday will be my last one for many weeks!

Hey, never came to North drinks, just Wests before was thinking of heading up this tuesday, though I don't get out of uni until 6, so i'll probably be there around 8-ish (allowing for navagational errors) am I safe in assuming that the party will just be starting then? =P

Hello to all up north!

Settled in to some extent out here - work'S steady and long distance which is nice when being paid by km, sorting a flat out as we speak so things are moving on. Also found a true wealth of activities for us to chose from when you get over here, a sample is as follows - please start coming up with ideas too:

• alley cat - (they are fairly frequent and winner normally takes all, so start studying those maps)
  
• keirin cafe - I'm sure a fair bit of time will be spent here
  
• velodrome - go and watch some of the pros (though to ride you've got to have a licence)
  
• trip out into the surrounding countryside (it's bitter cold and plenty of snow, so bare that in mind - 28 tyres recommended if specing allowance provides)
  
• pros of another kind now - strip palaces exist out here; would be a shame to see them go to waste (who'S with me, or am I now just a filthy perve . . . set myself up here really . . . ) they may be able to supply dwarves, facial hair must be arranged at least 2 months in advance.
  
• numerous clubs ranging from filthy gothic rock, to indie, to jazz, to minimal tech, to drum and base the list goes on
  
• restaurants of all kind
  
• museums blah blah blah
  So there'S a start - numbers?`I will be able to provide places to stay for a few, otherwise there'S plenty of decent hostels, which being german take hostel to a new level, or there'S always couchsurfing.com . . . we need to ellect photographer, journal writer, cameraman ok i'll stop getting carried away now.

Hay there, Good to see your getting yourself sorted out there. I think the plan is now march (as after checking with the BBC that is the month with the least rain). We need some dates ( I will look into this later, flights and what not) then a list of people comming. Let us know if it is going to be to many to stay at yours. That way we can sort out accomodation for whoever needs it.
