I've just used Nikwax on a Nike softshell i had to wash.
It's not cheap but it does work.

not to be a spoil sport, but all them waterproofers cost a fortune & usually really bad for the environment.
you might as well buy yourself something a little water resistant in the first place.

If you use Tech Wash to wash you Nikwaxed clothing, it'll last longer. Also good to re-waterproof gore-tex or any tired technical fabric.

i thought the chance to waterproof my favourite jeans as a super amazing thing !
cos no one actually sells "waterproof jeans " which is a shame really.
i will be letting people know how i get on with this :) -

Good luck. You'll probably get them shower proof or at best water resistant. Be interesting experient tho.

"Jeans, Shirts?**
**So what else can I waterproof? Yep, you can waterproof your cotton articles, too! Clothing like Jeans, t-shirts and even a long sleeve chamois can be waterproofed with Nikwax's Cotton Proof. The downfall with this product is that the garment is only waterproof until the next time you wash it normally. But that's okay if you're planning to ride in the rain on a warm spring day and want to beat the water without rain pants."
genius !!!
