Do the Apple Store fix anyone's computer??
I lashed out £50 on 3 year warranty, expecting Apple to be pretty good about warranties.

Apple said they wouldn't do anything about it because it's wear and tear. Mine's cracking around the hinge now too. Plastic shit.
