a midnight blue ford minivan was driving east across osborne street/ brick lane. He had to yeild right of way. our group of cyclists was north bound on brick lane. A few bikes go past the junction, driver sees a group of cyclists, speeds up, hits a kid from fixed gear london, and carlos from polo. they both go down. the van slows a bit then speeds off, and turns its lights off. me and Hill Billy gave chase, it went east, then turned south, then we lost it at the junction of whitechaple high street, we think it went east.
it was not a mini cab, but looked and drove like one. The driver did not care for the saftey of the people he hit, he made no attempt to stop at the junction despite having to, and he did not hit the frist cyclists but the middle of the group. he hardly slowed for the impact, and had no intention of stopping.
