We'll need to await whether it's freezing tonight, it's looking pretty wet right now, so temperature out in the countryside will be the clincher. But for people who like to make quick decisions, meeting time and location is 10pm at Hyde Park Corner under Wellington Arch. I'll be there in any case even if we don't end up going on a ride for whatever reason.
So far, the weather forecast for East Sussex is looking good, well above freezing, possibility of crosswinds at first that will be turning into a tailwind around midnight.
We should make Brighton at around 3 if all goes well, have a bit of food (24-hour opening caffs in Brighton, there is also a train back to London at 3 for those who don't want to go back) and then the plan is to go back to London, but we'll decide when we get there.
Post on the thread if you want to come, thought I'd alert some people I now know to be inveterate night riders. ;)
Oh, and just in case anyone's up for a longer night ride to Brighton TONIGHT, reasonably fast-paced, hop on over to the thread:
