Okay guys I can't get onto the internet after this so I'll see you at 11.30pm at Brick Lane Polo Court.
For those of you unfamiliar with it get to the corner of Bethnal Green Road and Brick Lane and look straight across over the traffic lights and you'll see people gathering. Either that or they'll be getting a bagel behind you.
Stuff you need for a good chance on this ride: money for bagels at the end, good tyres with good inflation, good lights, puncture kit and a few phone numbers of other riders. Bear in mind if something goes wrong it's tricky to get back on public transport - saying that we won't be straying far from inner London so most of the time it won't be impossible to get a bus somewhere.
The ride is around the thirty mile mark. We need to leave Brick Lane as close to 11.30 as possible as the ride takes at least three hours even if things go well.
I'll be giving out a guide to the ride tonight - might not be a bad idea to have a map of zone 1 with you if you're not massively familiar with it but not essential. furious tiles knows the first half of the route so between us we will try to keep it together.
As I said earlier today in the event of really shitty weather I will ride down to the meeting point then we'll make a decision on the ride when the time comes (ie if noone turns up, cool, I'll have a bagel and go home).
