Have totally the same feeling with the Marathons... skid/slide is very predictable.. fun to ride even though it's slow... as a bonus it doesn't seem to throw up as much water as the Fortezza TriComp I had on my front before.. no wet shoes today :)
Hope it's rideable/skidstopable in the dry as well..
