The 3 relevant measurements are rake, trail, and axle-crown length.
The 405mm axle-crown handsome dog forks on Ebay are some of the shortest 26" forks you can get hold of nowadays.
Regular track / road forks are usually roughly 390-395mm I think (please someone correct me).it's not a lot of difference in length.
