That's exactly why I said I'm reluctant to call it that.
Thinking about it, I've only ever had flu proper once. I was about 13 or 14 I think, couldn't move and was hard to breathe. Thankfully my sister is asthmatic and there was a nebuliser kicking about, that helped.
This is a baad cold. Went into work but could only hack an hour (would have only been painting skirting boards today and the idea of having my head lower than my arse for 7 hours didn't really appeal), the lung butter is pretty solid and my sinuses are wicked sore. The silver lining though is that if I remember rightly, the coughing up of rendered horse carcass is a sign of it dissipating.
