Odd all round: 60cm c-c st, 57cm c-c tt, long headtube, short back end...
Take off the 7400 series Dura-Ace components if they are in good nick, and sell them for loads on eBay?
Ooh, profiteering... I like it, they're FC 7400 with etched/engraved logo, any idea of value (need a good buff, no dings/rub, no dust caps)?

any thoughts?
Sell the Dura Ace and buy Campag. Clean it up a little bar tape etc..... Caygills are usually custom made bikes so you got yourself a bargain.

Well chuffed with this for £88
Bit much for Xmas tree deco?

If they are good in very good condition, you clean/polish them, take nice photos, etc, you could potentially get as much as you paid for the bike. but who knows, a lot of bike stuff on ebay has taken a nose dive in value, unless it is NOS/highly collectable.

Just waiting on a front brake now,not sure whether to sell it or keep it yet.
-

You know if you keep polishing the stem and saddle, you´ll be able to get the chrome out again, this matching the stem with the bar.

Man that Caygill is great for the money. Be a shame to 'fix' it.
-
• #3088
Well I either sell it for a profit (not fussed) or keep it as a trick bike, I've decided the geometry's off for longer geared rides.
Time to learn bar spins and the like...

I say keep it till the invisible hand gives you the secret ebay signal and make a profit.

Good idea. Focusing on one bike means money tends to jump out your wallet less often. Be sure to keep us updated ^^

Get a Brooks B17 saddle, then give it to someone in this group to chop it up and volia - you got a Brooks Swallow without the price tag of one.
