I had the long fingered leather ones with "ride hard" on the knuckles (ebay, £20) - The letters can be unstitched in about 5 minutes to give a nice all black stealth glove.
Anyway, they were far from comfortable for the first couple of weeks, then they became very comfortable as they stretched to size and softened up.
Then after about 3 months daily use the velcro round the wrist has completely given up and no longer sticks at all making them fairly useless - they have this weird long strap that wraps round the wrist and this now flaps around all over the place which I find rather annoying.
currently contemplating whether I can be arsed to get some heavy duty velcro and a needle and thread and replace what is on there to make them usable again.
