It's slippery outside people!

yep twas like an ice rink outside my house this morning. when the rear wheel span as i pulled away at a cruise with my full weight on the saddle i thought "hmmm, better take it easy here". stayed off the brake and cornered like an old lady till i got onto the salted main roads (mine is unsalted and the one after that is dry roasted).

also, am i alone in finding the title of this thread annoying? it's the "people" bit. it started with the "bells people, use them" thread and now this one. i resisted mentioning it before but it really annoys me. something about the "people" bit makes it sound like the author is trying to sound american and sort of sergent majorly/fatherly. as if we're all his people. as in "okay people, take care out there. by the left quiiiick march!" etc. i dunno. it just irritates me. sorry ved.
