That was fun! It was a good night, I always enjoy meeting new forumengers and I must say the North boys have a very nice pub indeed. Shame its up a great big fckin hill. Pizza was excellent and a good way to end the night.
I had a great ride back with Dropout, Prav and Corny even though it took an age to get back home, got to bed at 1:30am.
Donut - dude sorry to see you so deflated man, hope you sort out what you need to sort out and good luck with the jobbie.
Pip & Fiddy - what happened to you guys?

Great night chaps. Just gonna echo what Pinks said, good to see every one. Lovely new frame Max.
Hopefully see you lot again on Saturday.@Ved - I hear Donut! got his beloved top tube protector back ;)
Would it be perverse of me to say I think I'm starting to like those hills?
-
• #1787
Those hills are the best. There is something really enjoyable about the pain in the legs and the lungs. The best bit isnt the top, its the suffering on the way up!
-
• #1788
I am actually a bit jealous of the training you guys get cycling up and down there...
And yes Donut is happily reunited with his top tube pad. Good to meet you Spins and lpg.

• #1789

- Double-decker pizzas are the new bagels..

Nice to be up there again last night. Sorry had to leave to early but things had to be done. Survived the hill down, luckily.
P!MP just came by my work with brakes as well, none of which would fit. Maybe I'm supposed to be brakeless? I hope not.
Thanks again P!MP. -

And so you should be! Why do you think all us North Londoners are so hard and fast? ;)

And thats just in the bedroom. ;)
Seriosly, having to do the hills on a regular basis is great.

Speaking of pain in the lungs and legs, Pinks you still going to Rollapaluza tonight?
-
• #1794
Not sure. I slept really badly last night (cheese dreems probably) so I am knackered. I will see how I feel later.

Thanks again P!MP.Get the nut inside the steerer and it's an acceptable bodge (TM) i.e. better than nothing!
-
• #1796
It's wise advice rad but unfortunately I have nothing small enough to get into the steerer and hold the nut. Tried this last night.
-
• #1797
Your GF would beg to differ max.
-
• #1798
You'd be surprised.

Dudes, I enjoyed myself a great deal, broken on the way up, but 2 good pizzas for £6 ain't to be sniffed at, apologies for my rants during dinner, the cider must have got to me.
I'll be back up north once the weather becomes less chilly, and the legs get stronger.
thanks dropout for the c02 canister love, and the inability to ride by the kerb on our roll back down south.
good to meet you boys. top pub...
Watch the roads as you head north, it's getting slippery out there!
