• A rolling parts bin or ready to roll commuter with anti-theft features? You Decide.

This is the bike that made me fix my life up. I was riding to work one day and I thought, 'this is a piece of shit, I don't have to put up with this shit'.

I should have sold it when I got my first fix but I kept it to collect a little more rust on the chain.

I'm looking for £100 ono. Get your offers in quick, it hits ebay tomorrow, fixed forums aren't the best place to sell a geared bike.

    Features

    • Lock it up anywhere in London, no one will want to steal it. It is ugly!
    • Includes two free lights, batteries mostly run down!!!!!
    • Rear rack finsished in 'don't steal me' black with cuts, scrapes and other blend-in features, rescued from an earlier bike
    • Coyote '9' frame, oversize tubing. I think it's 6061 but can't say for certain due to respray work done by the previous owner, no stickers on frame. Alloy of some type
    • Seat Tube 56 cm from centre BB to TOP
    • TT 55cm ctr to ctr
    • Down Tube 63.5 cm ctr to ctr
    • Rear stays 41 cm - there is room for full mudguards (for smaler tyres) and the eyelyets you need as well. Note, it does come with a raceblade style mudguard, in carbon fibre effect finish!. I have placed the appropriate scratches to deter theives.
    • Stand over Height, 31" (79cm). I am 174cm tall and I'd say this suits someone 178cm or slightly larger. I was too small for this beast.
    • Forks are ITM carbon fibre (alloy steerer and drops). Hardly used as I fitted these after a collision with a ped (they were running a red man).
    • Cane Creek headset, 1 1/8"
    • Wheelset are Shimano WH-500. The front wheel has radial spoking (would that look good on your first fixed?)
    • New 105 cantilever front brake. I bought it, put it on and then stopped riding the bike (started riding fixed)
    • Rear brake is 105 also. It must be 10 years old but still locks up the rear no worries.
    • Crankset and BB are both hardly used Tiagra. 53/39 chainring. Again, I had these parts fitted only a few months before fixing myself up.
    • 9speed XT rear mech. The cassette on the rear at the moment is a 7speed. No professional would recommend that you do this, but it works fine for me.
    • I'll also include a rear road wheel with 9 speed MTB cassette to match the deraullier. THE FREE WHEEL BODY ON THIS WHEEL IS BROKEN. It now free wheels in BOTH directions. Maybe you can get it fixed, or just get the cassette off it.
    • Marks and Scratches on the frame as usual. In particular, there is a significant rub mark from a frame mounted lock, it rubbed against the non-drive side seat stay. Can try and get a photo of this if required.
    • Has ultegra shifters. These are old and worn. The right shifter has some right-to-left free play of about an inch at the tip. This must have been due to an accident of some type the previous owner had (he did not mention this when selling on ebay).

    Here come the pics

  • OK one offer in. See if you can beat it!

  • I see you are getting rid of everything (almost). When the nice one will go let me know. Will think about it. This one I will leave :D

  • XTR, about to be posting drop bars(new), shimano levers (new), unused brakes and.... Borat style swimming costume!

  • How is that Condor going, I'm missing it?

  • Very well, bought pedals yesterday and it goes really well. Nobody overtook me on the way from work today. Really happy with the buy.

  • Excellent. Never EVER let any body over take.
