Diverting the thread slightly, does anyone have Rock 'n Roll recommendations ?
I've got a Chuck Berry comp on vinyl which is aces, where should I go next ?
loads of good things came out of Ace Records in the 50's and 60's - but if your after a general cross section get a hold of some classics such as Carl Perkins, Charlie Feathers and Gene Vincent - listen to the Mark Lamarr show thursdays at 10pm on radio 2 - lots of good more obscure acts.
by the way, i play all that old music as well - i was actually going to start a little night at the duke of wellington in dalston - could maybe do with more people to play.
