Get some PlusGas rather than WD40 as it's a superior penetrating oil.
Can you add some leverage to the spanner, i.e. a length of tubing like a scaffold pole? You'd be surprised how much difference that makes.

longer bar for leverage?
it really helps if you have wheels (and tyres) on the frame, then you get something to work against.
if you haven't got a vice and workbench, that is

You need extra length.
If it was put in properly, and you're turning it the right way then you just need more torque.
Failing that put the BB tool in a vice and turn your frame.

Perfect, dug out the longest wrench, grunted and swore a bit louder and it popped out in a jiffy. Little bugger has been a pain in the neck for the last day or two, sorted now. Lesson learned apply basic physics and HTFU.
Cheers.

Can't start my own thread for some reason.
However I'm a total build/maintenance novice and need some advice please?
What sort of BB do I need for my Sugino's pictured? Mine just broke like butter.
Also what sort of tools do I need to remove them from my current frame and put them on my new frame, with the new recommended BB?
Thanks all!

1 - Appropriately sized wrench to get the crank bolt off
2 - Crank puller and a lot of HTFU to get the cranks off
3 - I'm unsure of what BB you have so I don't know what BB removal tool you'll need. You might need a lockring tool if it's on tight and most likely one of theseMight be cheaper to get your LBS to do it unless you plan on doing it to any other bikes.
Reverse the process (without he crank puller obv. to fit the Sugino 75 BB and cranks.

I was just thinking that pal thanks.
I do want to work on other bikes in the future but time is an issue this time.
Cheers for your help mate.
Got a frame that needs respraying but before I do that I need to get the BB out. It's a Shimano jobby stuck firm in the BB shell.
I've got the tools and some WD40 and really want to get it sorted. Anybody got a tips on shifting it as I want to get it out without damaging the thread at all.
Have tried using some HTFU but that hasn't resolved the issue, just made me swear louder, and yes I'm turning it the right way.JOB DONE, THANK YOU.
