OK, so it seems that the two options would equate to about the same distance - about 23 miles - but which one has the (if any) pluses? I imagine that the North Circ would have the slight edge on speed - less lights etc - but would be dull and dangerous. Does a cycle path exist? The TFL website takes you way out of the way when you use the journey planner - also has the journey time at about 2hrs 40 mins! As for town, it is certainly a route I know (ish). Certainly the first 3/4 at least.
Will have to see if the job comes my way first I suppose!
