thats cool, I know the roads around here are a nightmare at night, I ride about an hour most nights if I can. They get covered in leaves and that is what will fuck you up royally even on decent tyres. Also the wind can be quiet harsh, riding in the country side is completely different from riding around London, but I wish you all the best in your ride and hope it works out well. Just make sure you are all wearing reflective clothing and have LOTS of lights. I know it may not be cool to wear reflective clothing, but I would personally be wearing a high vis jacket
