if you get a chance head to brick lane bikes just of the top end of brick lane
wrap up a packed lunch and head into the big city one weekend or after work and have a butchers at the bikes / frames / bits and pieces in that shop. even if you decide not to buy it will give you a great idea about choices you have rices you'll expect to pay. it's like and alladins cave of steel aluminum titanium and carbon
blb will give you so many ideas, as far as the look the spec the frame types available they are unparalleled as far as choice of 2nd hand bikes goes ( although jos's bikes shop will be opening up soon that will also be a wet dream of a bike shop !!! ) blb have even got huge frames down in the basement ( 62's 64's so getting a frame to fit you shouldn't be an issue )
