Stripping chrome

How tatty? Try using Coke (the real stuff not home brand) and rubbing it on to the fork with the shiny side of scrunched up tin foil.

Ah right, is it acid enough to work? Might give it a try. They are pretty tatty, the chrome is just starting to lift in places, but not flaking yet.
