I want to strip and spray some old chrome forks, as they're looking a bit tatty. However, it isn't worth spending the time or money getting them chemically stripped or sand blasted.
Is a wire brush head in an angle grinder a really bad idea? if it gets the chrome off, the bare metal could easily be polished smooth enough to prime and spray?
