Well I tried a few places, including all 6 charity shops on Camden High Street (which, by the way, are a rip off!) and woolies and found nothing that I could use as a time piece. I did find loads of other things like tools and so on though! I ended up at Argos and looked at the immensly cheap £4.99 watch\/
which really wasn't very comfortable, so I decided to look at the Casio watches knowing that they are pretty much bomb proof and fit me well.
Anyway... I ended up with this\/
which was £9.99 instead of £23. So, even though I paid more than I was intending to, I feel like I got a fairly decent spare watch that should last many moons when it is required.
