  • How have I not noticed this thread before? I LOVE TEA!

I'm having a tea party with my fella when he gets in, I've made scones and we have nice biccies and fondant fancies and a selection of lapsang, darjeeling, earl grey and kenya tea
I also picked up one of these babies after finding it in sainsburies

Re the tea pot above /\, these are great but I would suggest one thing: Get one that has a proper spout coming from near the bottom not a lip from the top. This stops any of the floaty bits going into your tea. Almost all teas (especially if using bags straight into cups) leave a film layer on the top. Which is not the nicest bit, so the spout from lower down stops this. I still drink with bag straight from the cup if I'm being lazy, but when you're doing the nice stuff it's best to do it right;-)

Here's the one I have and I got it from TKMaxx for about £10 \/. It may just have been a lucky find, but I would imagine similar will still be available a some places.

It's the same as this one \/ but with a china outer rather than glass.

@MessenJah: BE A MAN. Either drink more tea, invites some friends to drink with you or pour the rest away. You don't need to use any more tea leaves to add a couple of small cups, so just add a little more water. I don't know what size cups you use, but a litre wouldn't fill more than 3 of mine. You obviously need bigger cups!
