OK I have an AWESOME secret santa version. I usually hate pressies but this is really worth doing.
OK so we ALL buy a present, for no-one in particular, for say £10 value max, and bring it well wrapped so you can't guess what it is. After dinner's finished, we all draw numbered slips of paper out of a hat (Rapha, natch). Number one goes first, and picks a gift. That's theirs. Number two picks another gift. BUT If they'd rather have number one's gift, they can swap it. Those swapped gifts get a little dot sticker. This carries on, people unwrapping and then swapping if they want to (the person who has the thing you fancy has no say in this). Each gift can be snatched up to three times, the third sticker means it can't be swapped again, the holder keeps it.
If this sounds complicated, it isn't. And a wicked laugh, don;t know why but it just is fuckin funny, especially if the pressies are really good things. I once got travel twister this way. Which was nice.
