kingsland rd is fucking dodgy, you need to ride center of the lane to make sure buses see you, i had a couple on my arse last night...
then once waiting to turn off kingsland onto the canal, when i was on the middle lines, a white van came out of no where, beeping his horn with the driver leaning out the window yelling abuse... as he was no where to be seen when i was crossing the road, and i was waiting for a few minutes for traffic to clear before he appeared, i can only guess he didn't see me and got freaked out thinking i came out of nowhere...
i guess the key is visability...
