it's not the hairdo per se, it's the desparate "look at me, I'm different, I'm down" desire, coupled with the anal obsession required to produce honky-dreads over long periods, that makes people think something very different about the wearer than that which they were hoping for......I know all about this, back in ancient History (when I was 18) I too was a dread-offender...
