they would fit but not perfectly, causing the bb to slowly ruin your cranks, a shimano or sugino bb will work with the 75's

^Huh??
Campy and Sugino 75 BB are both ISO taper and Shimano are JIS. Sugino 75 = ISO so no problem.
Check the transmission database thread.

If you have a standard 42mm chainline the 111mm Veloce is a tad long. The Miche 107mm will be nearer, and has adjustable cups.

sugino bb is a little off from ISO
if u put a non-sugino cranks on to a sugino bb, it works, but not ideal -

cheers, peeps!
Kowalski, I think I'll go with the Miche as its tried and tested. -

i know that when condor built my bike with 75s they didn't use their standard miche BB, but used a shimano one instead...

The good 'ol 75 BB monster rears its ugly head again.
Note ISO taper on the Sugino site.

Phil hubs are standard chainline?!?

Depends on what cog you're using
Phil + Phil = 36.75mm+ 6.05mm = 42.8mm
Phil + DA = 36.75mm+ 7.05mm = 43.8mm -

But why would you put anything other than a nice shiny phil cog on a phil hub? :-)
I ment the phil, phil combo.
Also the profile jobbies, thems are wide too.

Hello all,
I'm new to this and need some impartial advice!
I recently purchased a Campagnolo Veloce BB (BB6-VL1G) 111mm - English and a Sugino 75 Crank set to go on my Lemond FIllmore.
I was told in the shop where I bought it that they would fit. I went to another shop to buy a Campy BB tool and the guy mention that he would be weary of putting Sugino's and Campy's together as they do not fit well and would cause my crankset to stretch overtime.
Has anyone heard of this before and if so what BB would you recommend to replace the Campy one?
cheers,
milo
