because they give a standard track chainline, goldtec don't.
means you can switch wheels out without changing BB.
but for the road, not much in it. Goldtec are decent hubs, but some people big them up a little more than they deserve..
it's a pair of sealed bearings,inside an aluminium shell with an axle running through the middle.
