A second hand D90 body are pretty cheap, if you've already got some compatible lenses, and the D90 is fucking awesome. I'd advise digital as an option, as unless you need the quality of film, or are doing something film specific, not going digital is false economy for a serious photographer.
Whatever you shoot on though, it works! The shots are great, I'm totally down for a poster.
it´s not full frame thought, that´s the biggest difference between 35mm format and APS-C format.
most of the Nikon lens would be a tad useless on a cropped sensor camera, plus an F5 can be found for less than 200 quid, very cheap compared to a D700 digital.
hell, I got my Canon 1n for 150 quid, far cheaper than a 1D.
