  • Stef Mr Rowland\s philosofy is don't go too crazy on parts for a bike you're gonna use daily, in the rain, in the snow(salt),leave locked outside etc etc

or just get a langster right?

  • Rattlebag RPM, did you get the whole wheel built by goldtec?

I'm considering it but the prices for wheelbuilds are suspiciously cheap. I would love anyone's info on the quality of the build.

    no sir!
build me own wheels so I do.

I think they quote you after you select the stuff on goldtec's site, so it may work out more..dunno. I think thier builds are ok from what I've heard

  • I've running the Miche Primatos and like them a lot. Smooth, reliable, well priced and good looking. No rust anywhere on mine and I'veleft my bike in the rain a lot? I use Miche cogs and in my experience the cog carrier works well.

  • docus No rust anywhere on mine and I'veleft my bike in the rain a lot?

    Have you?

Shit, I'm a pedant. Forgive me, I never meant to turn out this way.

  • It's left outside every day when I'm at work, rain or shine - my Brooks saddle's suffered but the hubs have yet to. I'll check them again in a few months and report back.

  • Can anyone confirm the chainline a miche primato hub should give. I've read 45mm on here somewhere before i think?!!

  • spec and online shops state 42mm. ive measured it and it's pretty close (actual).

believe it or not, not everything posted here is fact.

  • cool, appreciate the measuring!! I could only find 42mm too so thats good!!!
