well it is pretty tiny....
46cm

Depends on how tall you are. You want to be able to run the saddle at your "normal" height (as I discovered from playing on the giraffe), so I'd say you'd want it perhaps 1"-3" smaller than the XC fitting in the same bike.
For polo, 46cm would be good for someone around the 5'10" - 6'1" mark. It would be good for CX for someone in the 5'9" - 6' range probably.

One last bump! No one fancy getting muddy then?
-
• #9
if i ad any money then yes.
now, no :( -
• #10
I lied last time. This is the last bump.
** To sweeten the deal I'll include the re-chargeable halogen light thing that's on it, and a set of thinner tires which I'd intended fitting, but never got round to.**
I'll be in London from the 4th of December and could bring the bike with me, or meet someone anywhere near the M6/M1 route on my way down or back.

Just ignore him jammy.. He gets like this sometimes.
This should really go on singletrackworld or something aswell?...
and acf, and any other forums. and liverpool gumtree.
I think the price is ok - 1/3 off RRP and some extras thrown in. problem is if it's a 2008 model they are probably heavily discounted in the shops now anyway. -
• #15
Yeah it was discounted when I got it to £300, still at that price now. Ah well, if someone doesn't fancy a swap for something tasty I'll ebay it I suppose.

I'm going to photograph it today, so I'll wack the pictures up here when I do. Then it will be ebay'd this eve -

I kinda feel like I'm flogging a dead horse with this, but I've got the pictures so what the heck!

The last 2 pictures show the marks left by the light battery. The bottom one is through the paint, but I've re-lacquered to stop it rusting. There's some chafing on the top bar which I'm sure could be t-cutted out.
Re-installation of the light with some strategically placed bits of inner tube would stop it happening again

**i like those we sell them in the shop i work at, the rasta one is dreadful though
good luck with the sale
**
I'm considering selling my GT, as it gets little use since I bought the Dave Lloyd. It's a great single speed 29er, and can't have more than 100 miles on it. I've changed the chainring to a 44, but have the original bits so you can change it back if you'd like.
There's a few scuffs in the paint, most notably on the top of the downtube where a battery pack for a halogen headlight rubbed through the paint. I've drop-lacquered this area as soon as it happened to protect it though.
Large size (18") in a sort of dark purple, looks cool (and like the one below) :)
I can take pictures of the bike if someone expresses an interest.
I live in Liverpool, and would be willing to drive to meet someone if required. I'll also be down in London early December, and could bring the bike with me if someone's interested.
All in all, a great mud-plugger.
Currently £300 new. So how does £200 sound?
