Chain bodge needed / Chain pin came out

I've done this a few times. Stick the pin onto the extractor pin of the chain tool using a small piece of chewing gum and put it in the fridge to set.

Then - carefully - screw the exractor, with pin on the end, into position on the chain and tighten it in. The gum will hold it in place whilst it's pushed in.

Sounds insane, but it works.

Ive done something similar with a blob of blu tack, didn't put it in the fridge though. Fucking fiddly but did the trick!
