Ok, so there's nothing I would like more than to burl around Melbourne for 7 weeks on my own bike. The idea of it is just awesome.
That said, the idea of getting the thing to Heathrow, pulling it apart, getting a bike box, putting it in and the inevitability that it won't arrive in one piece is hard to get motivated about. Then I have to do it all over again the other way (which is a lot easier - i'll have a car so not too much of an issue)
Spose I could get a clunker for the time i'm there, but it's summer and riding around on my bike that fits perfectly holds way more appeal than something that probably won't be the right size, ride quality, etc.
So... the question is: Should I HTFU and take it to Melb?
