The last 2 pictures show the marks left by the light battery. The bottom one is through the paint, but I've re-lacquered to stop it rusting. There's some chafing on the top bar which I'm sure could be t-cutted out.
Re-installation of the light with some strategically placed bits of inner tube would stop it happening again
