I always roll with a lockring on the rear. Greasing is optional but preferred.

i just ordered some white halo's and need some nay want some velocitys......i dont like arrospokes horrible.........i work in a bike shop and we've had a few customers after velocitys aswell so thought i would look into it

i'm using halo hubs and i rate them pretty highly for the monies... really strong and solid with decent bearings.
however i have just bought high flange phils for the new build :)

gonna go open pro hard anodised btw. fuck all this deep v rubbish!
