MA2 are strong (alloy) rims if they are the old ones (not green/yellow sticker).
They are ok hubs - budget classic look.
If you sell them polished up expect £55-65+..? depending on condition and lockrings etc. Are they chromed spokes? -

french hubs, with probably weird sized nuts 3/8 on rear, 5/16 front (not 15mm), have french lockring and sprocket threads. PITA!!

dibs if you sell them for around £40 or 50, clean or not clean.

They'll take an English threaded sprocket, with care. You definitely need a French lockring though. Parker International used to sell them, but not any more.

once only, if you swap again thread is fucked
I recently bought a Martrac track bike from ebay and it came with a pair of wheels that I need a bit of info on.
They are large flange Maillard hubs laced to chrome Mavic MA-2 rims.
The hubs need a good going over to get them looking good again as I think they may have sat in a shed for a long long time and are now a dull pewter colour.
They have "Maillard made in france" engraved on them and also have an M in a circle and 2 interlocked circles engraved on them
Rear is a flip flop.
Are they any good? Worth cleaning up and using?
I currently have a pair of ambrosio hubs laced to ambrosio rims so dont actually need the wheels unless they are a better wheelset than what I have.
What might they be worth if I was to sell them?
Any help appreciated.
