I found some amazing tyres!

so i was looking at tubeless tyres and stuff, then i came across these, http://www.hancox.co.uk/biketyres.html

like £26 each tyre and they last years and weigh around the same as a standard tyre and are completley puncture resistant.

They don't seem to come in 700c.

I'm comforted to learn that the road tyres are 'suitable for road use'.

They do - bottom of the first list, 700 x 25.

I tested these when i was still on circuit.....I too had thought I'd discovered the answer to every couriers prayer....they look the same as the one's linked above but made in the UK.

In reality they were unbelievably slow, mopped up your momentum and rattled your bones.....not suitbale for riding far and even on smooth surfaces the ride was harsh....

the only good thing was they came with an extra long (12" nearly), extra strong tyre lever, which is excellent for getting new tubs onto rims.

Solid and semi-solid tyres have always been a shit alternative.

Maybe on kid's bikes riding out in the thorn-infested bush.
