    There are two types of tyre available for bicycles, clincher or tubular. Clinchers are used by 95% of riders as they are easy to install and repair should you get a puncture. Tubulars, or tubs, are harder to install as you have to either glue or tape them to the rim. If you get a puncture then you can't repair them very easily, if at all.
