  • Can someone tell me if the decals on a Langster are applied under the lacquer or on top? Are they easy to remove?

  • leave it in a vat of hydrochloric acid for about 2hrs, should do the trick ;)

  • Napalm is proven to remove 100% of decals.

    Just scoop up a big handful and then rub onto the frame and light with a match.

  • I asked Kona this after I bought my Paddy Wagon (stupid name) They reckon they put the decals on under the laquer to stop the bikes being rebranded by someone else. What a lot of crap!

  • It isn't really about being ashamed, some people just like the look of bikes without names tacked all over it.

    Some bikes look nice by default (http://www.roadcyclinguk.com/news/images/charge_plug_hi.jpg) some not as sexy. :)

  • Hi all,
    Basically, I want to remove some clear coated decals without killing the paintwork. there are no edges on the stickers and are under a layer. I preferably dont want to nitromores it, but I was wondering if anyone knew a way of getting them off. I've googled and searched on here but not had much luck. if this fails, nitromores it is.
    any help would be much appreciated.
