I do have a nice 90''s Peugeot.
Campagnolo/ Shimano groupset. Mavic rims. he only thing it needs are tyres.

some pics here before putting on cables etc, this is all done now.
The bike gathers dust in the shed and I do not really need it.
Let me know if you like it.
Would like to get a bit more then 60 notes though. -

Sharkstar: I have a 2007 Genesis Day 02, again more than £60 notes, more like 300. 52cm, Shimano Tiagra triple, carbon bars, seatpost and fork, race blades

The cables and pads are all there right now. Complete with straps for the pedals.
Only thing missing are the tyres.
100 notes would make me happy. -

Slight hijack, but I'm looking for almost the exact same thing at the moment (a cheapy geared road bike), but budget is up to** £200**, if anyone has anything they want to part with (I'm 5ft 8" too, but take a 55cm road frame).

Dammit - this was perfect for me. Dibs if the sale turns out to not be a sale.
The woman who works in the wine shop down my road, no doubt inspired by the fact that I always turn up at the shop on my bike looking buff and thrusting, expressed a keen interest in getting a bike for herself. I have taken it upon myself to find one for her.
Now, she works in a wine shop so she's not flush with cash, but I thought that there must be someone on here who has a spare road bike they've bought, perhaps with the intention of converting it to fixed one rainy day, but who now realises they can't be arsed with it, and who now just wants shot of the thing, due to pressures from partners or flatmates or both.
The lady in question is about 5 foot 8, so I reckon something in the region of 52-54cm on a road frame (or equivalent on other frames) would fit the bill. She's not fussy about aesthetics, and I'm sure she would be happy with a ladies' frame or an MTB / commuter. I reckon she'll need at least 5 speeds, hub gears acceptable.
Condition and level of maintenance not important as I'll do the fettling. Budget in the region of £40-£60 I reckon.
Whaddya say?
