Dude, I would love to do that kind of stuff, but I unfortunitly chose a career as a cycle courier, not a police officer. But I'm still young (ish). I can change.

Well, in a sense it's my thread so why not? No, I don't Nhatt. But I tell you one thing; it won't be long before someone on here quotes your post and puts up a picture of the jazz musician Count Baisey - that's what we do over here.
Does anyone know who Count Baisie (not that Count Baisie) is? -

Good god no! Not the filth, you could be so much more...

I think that Count Baisie is Jeremy Clarkson.

• #32
I didn't realize he was such a cnut. I should watch more telly
-
• #33
There was a general conjecture that he was Laurence.
I don't really think so, but laurence is a jazz fan.

I never imagined it was possible to think this but I think you're being unfair to Jeremy Clarkson

His mates are pretty much knobs too, how I laughed when the little one crashed at 350 odd mph.

Blimey there's a thought. Trouble is Baisie is quite literate and, to a degree, bookish which Loz certainly isn't. And Loz is a softy at heart which Baisie really isn't.
BTW the rest of the forum will just have to indulge this courier gossip for a while. thankyou. -

Jesus, his legs must have been spinning! What sorta gear ratio was he running?

:)

Yeah, that was my thought on Loz as well. We would scream at each other, but it was alot more pointless and it always involved a hug after.

Crossed lines
-

And Loz was never one for politics or organising anything. I thought the Metro lot had an idea who Basie is?

Speaking of gear ratios, I was on a cyclecross web site and found this dude who's bike is running two chain rings up front and 8 sprockets in the back, but both the chain rings are the same size as are all 8 of the sprockets.
Worlds weirdest single speed?

It's time for my bath now. We should probably hand back to people who ride for pleasure.

Huh? but why? spread out the wear so you have to change sprockets 8 times less?

One thing I do know is that JoAnne Good, the cyclist-hating presenter from BBC London's radio breakfast show, posts on this forum as 'overdrive'.

I can't help you there, it's mainly for work or pain, that I ride.
I've forgotten what riding for fun is about since I sold my BMX

I bought a road bike recently that i'm only allowing myself to ride on the weekends, that's so I can still have some sort of fun on a bike. at least for a while...
if it was Nhatt then God help us all; making up laws and then threatening to arrest the rider - that's the way to build bridges.
